It's Monday again.

We had a nice laid back weekend. It rained almost all day Saturday so we just planned to lounge around the house. Tony's mom ended up coming over for awhile on Saturday and hanging out, but that didn't really change what we did much. I got some scrapbooking done which was nice. Then we went out to dinner with a couple of friends.

Sunday we went to the grocery store and then I scrapbooked some more. I was really proud of myself for getting so much of the scrapbooking done this weekend. I am working on a trip that Tony and I took out west back in 2004. I'm really behind on our pictures because I took them all on my digital camera and don't ever end up printing them out. Anyway, we flew into New Mexico and drove across through Arizona and into Las Vegas. We had a really good time and saw Tons different things on that trip. I'm expecting to end up with 16+ pages in the scrapbook just from that trip. My goal is to finish that trip and my wedding pictures (which I've been scared to start on) before the baby comes. I figure once the baby comes I will be too busy scrapbooking about it to worry about old stuff ;-)

I have been pretty much nausea free for the last week or so at least. I still have slight icky feelings if I wait a little too long to eat, but it feels more like a low blood sugar type reaction than an I'm going to throw up type reaction. I also tend to gag if I burp, which is really gross, but the good thing is it doesn't cause me to throw up. So, I would say that I think the "morning" sickness is pretty much passed. I thought it was a little weird because it didn't really start until about the 8th week and then sort of peaked at 12 weeks and seems to be going away now. I will just count myself lucky for now and hope that it stays gone!

I put in my leave request at work today for our upcoming vacation. We've decided to take vacation the last week of April. We chose that week because we have a state holiday and I can use less leave and still have a whole week off. I wanted to try to wait and take the week of Memorial Day, but we have company coming in from Kansas at the end of that week, so I figure that isn't the best time. I'm afraid to wait too much past May because my third trimester starts mid-June. Anyway, we haven't decided exactly what we want to do yet, but we are thinking a smallish road trip to either the North Carolina/ South Carolina area or Tennessee. I'm also hoping that we can get a few things taken care of around the house during that week.
